Waipuna Hospice

Waipuna Hospice holds a special place in the hearts of many within our community, including my own. The care and compassion they provide to individuals and families during some of life’s most tender moments is truly remarkable.

It was an honour to create this mural for the reception space, with the intention of bringing warmth, calm, and a sense of beauty to those entering the hospice. Thoughtfully designed to complement the environment, the artwork aims to offer a gentle and welcoming presence for patients, families, staff, and visitors.

At the heart of the mural will sit the ‘Gratitude Tree’, a feature that symbolises the generosity and support of the wider community whose contributions help sustain the important work of Waipuna Hospice.

I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to contribute to such a meaningful space and to support the incredible work being done at Waipuna Hospice.
