Paengaroa Kindergarten

I loved working alongside the teachers to dream up a design which incorporates birds and plants found throughout the kindy's outdoor play area. We wanted children to recognize the plants and bird life as part of their space when they see the mural at the entrance to Kindy each day.

We included the star magnolia, cherry blossoms, tūī, butterflies, Japanese anemone flowers, strawberries, ferns and ponga, and even the little sparrows that come and eat all the crumbs after morning tea time!
