Levers Road

My most recent mural was created for a new housing development on Levers Road with Veros . The intention was to turn an existing large brick wall that sits in sight of several of the new homes, into something that felt beautiful, natural and far more lovely to look at for the soon-to-be homeowners

I was inspired by the development’s planting palette and incorporated silver flax, giant bird of paradise, jade, star jasmine, waxeye and pīwakawaka to create a natural and peaceful design which is connected to the landscape.

This is such a nice example of how considered artwork can add real value to a development. A mural can transform something functional into something people can enjoy every day.
