Springdale School Murals

Painting these murals for Springdale Primary School NZ in the heart of the Waikato was special for so many reasons 💚

This small rural school of 34 students commissioned two murals, one to welcome their community with vibrant colours, a waharoa, Mt Te Aroha and the school’s values of being Seen. Heard. Valued.

The second mirrors their river garden, filled with wildflowers and rolling hills 🌿🌸

While I painted, students were so interested and interactive! Some were drawing, painting, learning and asking questions as the murals came to life!

Art like this brings such a sense of belonging, pride and connection to the spaces we share and it's a huge reason I love painting for schools and communities.
